The apartment was clean and great for two couples. Location is park like and a great get away. Julia was helpful and pleasant. Only problem we had was finding the place, in the dark, in the rain, but they were very nice and waited on us to arrive. Be sure and get specific directions.

Overall we had a lovely stay a Caparzo's farmhouse Brunello. Lots of day trips to explore from this central location just below Montalcino.

ons verblijf in Casa Giovanna was buitengewoon prettig. Het is een leuk, gezellig huis in een heerlijke grote tuin. Het huis was leuk ingericht en in de keuken was echt alles aanwezig. De eigenaren waren bijzonder aardig: ze ontvingen ons met wijn en hapjes! We willen zeker nog een keer terugkomen!
Het enige minpunt was de toegang: een kleine, maar zeer steile helling met grint. Onze auto had er geen probleem mee, maar die van mijn zusje kwam er niet tegenop. Een eindje verderop langs het smalle weggetje was gelukkig wat ruimte om hem te parkeren.
Onhandig is dat het huis eigenlijk een andere naam heeft: Villa l'olivo (of zoiets): we waren er dus eerst voorbijgereden.Vil du anbefale denne ejendom til en ven? Ja

This villa was a joy to have rented. It was homey and clean and spacious. The owners were very pleasant to deal with and the location was outstanding for the Tuscan region. Family friendly, simple to find and the B&B next door (Molina de Foci) with it's extremely friendly, helpful, gracious staff was a bonus. I would definitely stay there again.

We looked for a property that had Tuscan charm and Poggio Bello did not disappoint us. The villa comfortably accommodated 4 adults having 2 ensuited bedrooms that were located at opposite ends of the house. The kitchen was very well equipped and all appliances worked well.
The views of the countryside were relaxing and the setting was tranquil.
The town of Camucia was a 12 km drive with all the amenities we required such as a large Co-op with extended hours, restaurants, caffes, a weekly Thursday market, train station and, many other shops and services.
Day trips by car to Assisi, Orvieto and, Civetta, were easily made. Train connections to Florence were also good.
Most helpful was Simonetta and her family. The family was very friendly and helped us with any inquiries or requests we had. The property was well managed and we would recommend it to others without hesitation.Vil du anbefale denne ejendom til en ven? Ja

Lovely villa and grounds with nice views. Very good restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Little details that should be noted: sufficient bathroom towels available for all guests plus the toaster was not in good working order. Caretakers did not do a walk through of the house upon arrival and the security deposit was not collected. Rooms should have had a good vacuum before arrival. Upon saying this, I did my stay at Al Palazzaccio.

We stayed in Europe one month of which 1 week was in France and 3 weeks in Itay. We were scheduled to stay at Antica Fortezza for 5 days, but extended it 2 added days. Great location to San Rocco, which has a great super market and Wednesday market. It is a 5 minute walk to the village. Bus to Siena is in San Rocco and takes just 20 minutes (11 km). Buses travel to Siena every hour. The rooms at Antica Fortezza were clean and comfortable. They have a main kitchen for anyone to use and we used their refrigerator for our storage. Anna Marie is in charge and is an excellent wealth of information for help. Breakfast was very good and is included in the stay. Alot of history at the villa and we enjoyed reading books, taking bus rides to Siena and Montgeriggioni. The villa proved to have the character we needed to absorb the culture of Italy's countryside and get away from commerization/tourism. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place located on a hill side of Bucine. Sun whole day and excellent for a big family.

Beautiful Villa! This villa more than met our expectations - it was spacious, clean, quiet and centrally located. Monica (key holder) was wonderful and we booked her to come cook us an authentic Tuscan meal one night - it was fabulous. We loved the fact that we could walk into town every day and yet when we were at the villa, we felt like we were miles from anyone. It has all the amenities you could want - and the wifi connected easily and worked well. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and hopefully we will be back one day to enjoy it again ourselves.
