Casina Paradiso is furnished with taste and care down to the smallest detail, is equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi and has a beautiful private terrace-solarium and an outdoor area with barbecue and garden furniture for your dinners “al fresco”. Above all, the terrace will become the focal point of your cool summer evenings with the view of Cortona lit up in the distance.
Casina Paradiso is a small nest, ideal if you are a couple and wish to spend a romantic holiday, to spend your honeymoon, but also as a support point to comfortably visit Tuscany and the nearby Umbria.

Its cobbled lanes, noble palaces, panoramic viewpoints across the Valdichiana to Lake Trasimeno, its churches and numerous monuments are all not to be missed. We advise you not to miss out on a few evenings in the numerous typical restaurants in the historic centre, you absolutely must try the Tuscan cuisine and the many delicacies it offers!
The owners of the house have carefully restored it with absolute respect for the old architectural features: the wooden beams, ceilings, fixtures and terracotta floors are those of yesteryear. Colours, decorations, finishing works and furnishings are perfectly in tune with the characteristics of the house, a perfect rustic style to take you back in time.
In front of the house, there is a large green area at your disposal, a gazebo with garden furniture ideal for enjoying outdoor dining in harmony with the landscape below and the lights in the distance. The beautiful town of Cortona, with its stone alleys, Rugapiana and the Church of Santa Margherita, and the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino are both about 15 km away and have all the necessary shops and services. Casetta i Ciliegi can be reached via a scenic mountain road that is partly unpaved (about 4 km), not recommended for sports cars. Especially the first time it may be a little difficult, but once you get there you will understand that it is worth making a little effort to admire such a beautiful view. You will find Villa Cantagallo a short distance from the charming Etruscan town of Cortona (8 km), a destination of great artistic, historical and architectural interest that is definitely worth a visit. You will leave your heart in Cortona, in its paved alleys that climb up the hill, you will immerse yourself in an almost magical atmosphere, as if suspended in time.
Don't forget to dine in one of the countless restaurants and trattorias in the historic centre; our advice is definitely local red wine and a nice Tagliata of Chianina beef!
Until a few years ago the house was the heart of a large farm, then a recent and careful renovation, which the owners carried out with love and care to keep the old features of the villa unaltered, transformed it into a cosy holiday home.
Still next to the house you will find the wine cellar where the owner produces excellent wine (Vino DOC Cortona), which you can taste for free during your holiday.
All around the house you will have at your disposal a large green area equipped with gazebo, table and chairs for your outdoor dinners in company, barbecue, games for children and shaded parking spaces. At the back of the house is the large swimming pool (size 6x12 m, depth 1.20-1.40 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) for your exclusive use. Podere Marcigliano consists of 2 newly built villas, which nevertheless reflect the architectural characteristics of the farmhouses of the past. You will find the farm at the foot of the rugged hill where the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona rises majestically and will instantly win you over with its old-world atmosphere. In Cortona you can stroll around, enjoy splendid views and visit countless ancient churches, museums and works of art. Don't forget to taste the local cuisine in the typical restaurants in the centre - you won't regret it!
A skilful and careful renovation, carried out with painstaking patience directly by the owner, and a decor in authentic period furniture give the houses a very special charm. You will feel welcomed in a very homely atmosphere that will make you feel at home from the very first moment.
Apartments Sofya and Selene are located in the same building and can be especially recommended for 2 families travelling together. La Gabola, La Gabolina and La Turata, on the other hand, are individual and independent houses, perfect for those who like a little extra privacy.
All around the farm a large green space where each house has its own private corner with a gazebo equipped with table and chairs. This will be your favourite place on warm summer evenings, chatting with friends and a good bottle of red wine.
