Great space, many different relaxing areas to spend time in. Nice to have 3 bathrooms. Location was easy to find, and there was good street parking in front of the building. The kitchen had everything you needed.
This is an amazing place, with gorgeous views. It is very comfortable for 6 people, has all you need for a vacation, well equipped and modernized kitchen. The only reason why I would not give it 5 stars is because it is at the top of the hill and all cobblestone streets. There is a real charm in that, but if you don’t have a car it is super difficult to haul your luggage up. And the house is 3 flights of stairs , plus stairs to reach the different levels. So be aware that you must be super fit. We are in our 80s and were able to do it , but it was a strain. Taxis and Ubers are not readily available. But most importantly, there is a requirement that when you leave you take out the trash to the local reception area. That happens to be at minimum a 15 minute walk one way down the hill. As you leave with all your luggage, this is a real hassle. The hosts would not accommodate any other option, except paying 50 euros. So be aware of that problem. Otherwise , it was wonderful although I don’t think we could manage the hikes in the future.
Spent a week at villa Cecilia. It was lovely in every way, the villa, grounds and pool are beautiful. The owners were incredibly lovely and welcoming, their hospitality was amazing and nothing was to much trouble. Surrounded by beautiful countryside this was the most relaxing holiday we have had.
Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 14 Personen in der "Villa Marietta" und haben uns von Anfang bis Ende wohl gefühlt: Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, es standen sogar frische Blumen (aus dem Garten) in der Küche, alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich.
Sowohl das Haus als auch der sehr großzügige Garten samt tollem Pool (14 Meter!) bieten mehr als ausreichend Platz für die große Gruppe!
Sowohl bei der Ausstattung der Zimmer als auch der Küche hat es an nichts gemangelt!
Der Garten war super sauber, ein Mitarbeiter hat sich täglich (sehr unauffällig!) um Pool und Garten gekümmert.
Wir würden die "Villa Marietta" uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung. Sehr sauber, alles notwendige vorhanden, schöner, großer und auch überdachter Balkon mit großem Esstisch (zwei weitere kleine Balkone für die Aussicht) - das ist wie ein zusätzlicher großer Aufenthaltsraum.
Einziger Nachteil: Direkt im Dörfchen keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit, man muss nach Colico (100 Höhenmeter) um sich zu versorgen.
Dennoch: Absolut empfehlenswert, einfacher check-in / check-out, sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit der Vermietungsagentur, sehr kurze Antwortzeit! Weiter so!
Tutto perfetto. Un posto davvero incantato e immerso nel verde. Ottimo per passare un weekend in compagnia.
