Truly beautiful villa - we hugely enjoyed staying here! The villa is well maintained and beautifully furnished. It's in a very peaceful location; a wonderful base for exploring the treasures of Tuscany, or to just hang out and relax. The only issues we had were with figuring out how to use the dishwasher (it's a professional restaurant style machine and not intuitive to use) and two of the bedrooms didn't have mosquito screens on the windows which made those rooms difficult to use.
Die Lage des Hauses ist wirklich einmalig. Toller Blick aufs Meer und auf Isola Rossa. Jeden Abend ein wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang. Bei der Anreise am Nachmittag war das Haus aber leider noch nicht gereinigt. Das Putzteam kam erst am Abend! Wir waren mit 10 Personen dort und hatten beide Etagen gebucht. Du untere Etage war trotz Reinigung allerdings feucht und sehr muffig, so dass alle 10 Personen ziemlich eng in der oberen Etage geschlafen haben. Leider fehlt dem Haus eine Klimaanlage, die im August sehr nötig gewesen wäre. Trotz allem hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub der Blick aufs Meer ist einfach unbezahlbar!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The location of the house is really unique. Great view of the sea and on Isola Rossa. Every evening a beautiful sunset. When we arrived in the afternoon the house was unfortunately not cleaned yet. The cleaning team came in the evening! We were there with 10 people and had booked both floors. The bottom floor was despite cleaning but damp and very musty, so that all 10 people slept quite tight in the upper floor. Unfortunately, the house lacks air conditioning, which would have been very necessary in August.
Despite all, we had a great holiday the sea view is simply priceless!
Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, für uns einfach das richtige.
Der Ausblick und die Lage ist super, die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich.
Wir kommen schon mehrere Jahre und nächstes Jahr bestimmt auch wieder.
Die Nähe zum Dorf und zum Alimentari ist sehr vorteilhaft.

The view and the location are great, the landlords are very friendly.

The proximity to the village and the grocery store is very beneficial.
Everything was very nice and our stay was relaxed. The owner ist very helpful und friendly. You basically find everything you need in the house. We would do it again ;)
The villa itself is very good, but there are some minor points to highlight, the bedroom in the basement is not comfortable and does not smell good. Also the road to the villa is not suited for normal car's, this should be mentioned before hand or the road should be repared. But apart from this the villa is located on a very nice place with all the comfort available, the house manager is very helpful and did a terrific job !
Casa con todo lo que hace falta para sentirse con en su propia casa. Piscina de una limpieza remarcable. La vista es de ensueño. Paola, the owner, encantadora señora siempre dispuesta a dar una mano. Es cierto que el camino hasta llegar a la casa es un poquito complicado, pero despacio se llega sin ningún problema. También vinieron en 2 oportunidades a cocinar a casa, distintos teams y personalmente valoré mucho poder quedarme en casa, disfrutar del lugar y cenar disfrutando de la vista y de la excelente comida italiana.
Si algo tendría que decir algo para mejorar sería mas tomacorrientes en el área de la cocina por ejemplo. Almohadas de diferente espesor y poca cosa más.
Muy contenta por esta semana en Al Mennicci y ya con ganas de regresar...
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] House with everything it takes to feel at home. Pool remarkably clean. The view is dreamlike. Paola, the owner, is a lovely lady always willing to lend a hand. It is true that the road to the house is a bit complicated, but slowly you get there without any problem. They also came 2 times to cook at home, different teams and personally I valued being able to stay at home, enjoy the place and have dinner enjoying the view and the excellent Italian food.
If something would have to say something to improve it would be more outlets in the kitchen area for example. Pillows of different thickness and little else.
Very happy for this week in Al Mennicci and already looking forward to returning ...
The pool is huge, and very private and has an amazing view down into the valley and across to Castiglion Fiorentino and surrounding hills. There is plenty of room in the grounds, which are covered in olive trees, some fruit trees and lots of flower planters. You really do feel as if you are away from everything. Just bring lots of insect repellent for the evening.
The house is small but adequate for a family of 4.
