Really quiet and comfortable area on the hills above San Polo. From the terrace you can enjoy a great view on the tuscany hills.
The appartment was cozy, well equipped and offered anything needed to cook dinners and relax, we especilly enjoyed the fireplace.
The road from San Polo to the villa is quite steep, so getting around by car is recommended.
Stefano was very friendly during check-in/-out and was available via phone in case of questions.
He has really good wine to offer, you should try that one!

- inside nicely decorated, but equipment poor. Hot shower didn’t work very well, sometimes smell from the septic tank.
No toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc. when we arrived.
Luogo speciale. L'esterno è curatissimo e ricco di una eccezionale varietà di verde e fiori. Godibile di giorno con un fantastico panorama e di sera, quando il cielo si copre di stelle. L'interno è spazioso, arredato con gusto e con alcuni pezzi pregiati di ceramiche artistiche. Gezellig huis op prachtige locatie. Wel goed om te weten dat het huis op een berg ligt en de toegangsweg smal is, veel scherpe bochten heeft en het wegdek niet overal heel goed is.

Unglaublich toll - sowohl das Haus, in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben, inklusive Garten mit Pool und wunderbarer Aussicht! Und natürlich die wunderschöne Umgebung ( Toskana!!! ), die wir mit allen Sinnen genossen haben. Dazu kommen selbstredend die äußerst sehenswerten Städte, wie z. B. Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano. Sie bieten alles, was das Herz begehrt!

And of course the beautiful surroundings (Tuscany !!!), which we enjoyed with all our senses. In addition, there are of course the cities that are extremely worth seeing, such as B. Florence, Siena, San Gimignano. They offer everything your heart desires!
On the first sight, everything was fine. The pool was closed, but we could still use it and turn on the filter.
When we mentioned the outdoor lighting didn't work, the water didn't get warm in the shower and the sink upstairs was clogged, the owner came over quite quickly. He fixed the lighting with an electrician an unclogged the sink. The showers, however, were apparently heated by some kind of solar system. The water did not get really warm, however. It was already end of September, so a hot shower is quite welcome.
The matrasses in some of the rooms were not really good. Everything inside (decoration, but also the kitchen and the bathrooms) is quite outdated. The house was clean, though.
There were many dogs living in the nearby streets (on the streets as well as in the houses). They woke us op during the night.
It wasn't really clear whether it was because it was the end of the season, maybe due to COVID, but the village was really empty and gave a quite abandoned impression.
We enjoyed the stay very much. Especially the perfect location and nice environment.
