An endless view on Valdichiana Valley. Lovely small stone house on the slopes of a high hill covered with olives groves and woods, that thanks to its extremely panoramic position offers the possibility to admire a boundless view on the nearby village of Castiglion Fiorentino and on the whole underlying valley. The wide panoramic balcony in front of the house, equipped with outdoor furniture, allows to eat outside or simply to take long sun baths gazing at the charming landscape.
Completely fenced garden, pool and hydro massage amidst olive groves. Hidden among olives, there are a nice (heated) hydro massage bath for 4 persons (size 2,20 x 2,20 - depth 1 m) and a 6 x 3,50 pool (depth 1,50 m), that secure refreshment during hot summer days. The furnishing, in harmony with the house, is simple but comfortable. Air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD player, stereo and CD player are at full guests disposal.

A wonderful hide-away on a large and varied plot, with great views and comfortable outside living. Fully met our expectations.

Lovely little villa on the hill behind Castiglion Fiorentino. We didn't get to try the pool because the weather had cooled down but the spa was awesome overlooking the twinkling lights of town. Suggest you reserve a table for dinner well in advance as they book out and "walk ins" are turned away. Could do with an upgrade on the poor old creaky bed, but overall 80% happy.

What a wonderful location! If you want to "get away" yet still be a few minutes from a charming walled town and you like a great view and isolation Il Nido is a great choice. Luciano was a great host and he cared very much about us and our stay. We actually were there during the Palio in Castiglion Fiorentino so that was an added treat. You're located in the midst of an olive grove with a wonderful view of the Val di chiana, can't say enough.
