The area around the house is a dream if you love walking. During your explorations you will be able to meet roe deer, fallow deer and all the other animals of the forest, to the delight of children. Casavecchia is an old stone farmhouse divided into three large, well-furnished and well-equipped apartments. Each apartment has a private area with a gazebo furnished with table and benches for your evenings “al fresco”, where you can enjoy a good dinner or lose yourself in conversation in the cool of the summer nights. At your disposal also a barbecue, a wood-burning oven, children's games, a fully equipped laundry room and the panoramic swimming pool (size 5x10 m, depth 1.20 m - open from 01st May to 30th September) completely fenced and built on a natural terrace overlooking the Arno valley. A few kilometres away is the village of San Giustino Valdarno where you can find shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Casavecchia is halfway between the cities of Arezzo and Florence, both of which can be reached in just over 40 minutes by car. From here you can easily set off on day trips to discover the famous Tuscan art cities. It will be a challenge to decide whether to stay and enjoy the peace and atmosphere of your location, relaxing by the pool, or to venture out to discover the beauty of churches, ancient squares and museums. The house is restored and very well done. The views are great, the house is clean, and the grounds are well kept. The pool is also a great amenity. There are also good places to eat within 10-20 minutes. The house can be difficult to find if you're using certain smart phone navigating apps. Plus VRBO does not give you the exact address of the farmhouse so ask for it in advance. The owners are very nice, good people who are willing to help in any way they can. The owner's family is very friendly and always there to help. The house is located an a hill but at the same time close to Arezzo, Siena, Firenze and even Rome (1h high speed train from Arezzo).
