There were two bedrooms, one of the bedrooms had a man-made chimney which causes the room to be cold at night. However, there was a central heater to warm up the place. There was a back and front yard which were pleasant at night but can get very hot during the day (we were there in early June). The property is located in a quiet area in Brenna that is friendly to cyclist and runners; bikes are available at the property for no charge. Brenna is approximately 15 minutes from Sienna, one hour from Florence and 2 hours from Pisa; very convenient for day trips. There are two huge supermarkets (Penny, forgot the other name) in Sienna for shopping that are open late There is also a restaurant right across the property, just in case you don't want to cook. Linens and towels are provided and there is a washing machine for cleaning. The person who looks after the house is conveniently located a few blocks away from the place. Although she speaks very little english, she is extremely friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The one drawback for me was the bugs/critters. I did expect mosquitoes and flies since it felt to me like being in the country, but I was surprise to see scorpions. We made them part of our adventure and learn a bit about them. There were two bedrooms, one of the bedrooms had a man-made chimney which causes the room to be cold at night. However, there was a central heater to warm up the place. There was a back and front yard which were pleasant at night but can get very hot during the day (we were there in early June). The property is located in a quiet area in Brenna that is friendly to cyclist and runners; bikes are available at the property for no charge. Brenna is approximately 15 minutes from Sienna, one hour from Florence and 2 hours from Pisa; very convenient for day trips. There are two huge supermarkets (Penny, forgot the other name) in Sienna for shopping that are open late There is also a restaurant right across the property, just in case you don't want to cook. Linens and towels are provided and there is a washing machine for cleaning. The person who looks after the house is conveniently located a few blocks away from the place. Although she speaks very little english, she is extremely friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The one drawback for me was the bugs/critters. I did expect mosquitoes and flies since it felt to me like being in the country, but I was surprise to see scorpions. We made them part of our adventure and learn a bit about them.
