Ejerne, en meget flot familie, driver gården og producerer olivenolie og vin.

Belle propriété, au calme. Belle vue sur les vignes et sur le village de San Gimignano. Bien située, entre Florence et Sienne. Les propriétaires sont adorables et discrets.

Das Haus war nach der Wegbeschreibung schwer zu finden, aber um so schöner, als wir es dann erreicht hatten. Das kleine Haus und der große Pool bieten alles, was man für einen gelungenen Toskana-Aufenthalt braucht. Lage und Aussicht sind außergewöhnlich schön. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und herzlich. Wir bekamen sogar einen selbst gebackenen, noch warmen Kuchen geschenkt. Wir können diese Unterkunft rückhaltlos weiter empfehlen.

The little house and the large pool offer everything you need for a successful stay in Tuscany. Location and views are exceptionally beautiful. The owners are very helpful and welcoming. We had a fabulous week at captannina it is set in a wonderful location you have to go there to appreciate it the owners could not have been more helpful in every way from organising a taxi to offering fresh eggs it is a working vineyard and olive grove but they always had time to talk with us and give information on the area .

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Ein nettes und herzliches Willkommen von den Besitzern bei unserer Ankunft. Ein eigener Pool, super-schön!, mehr als genug Liegen, ein eigener Pavillon und eine eigene Terrasse! Wir waren 4 Personen und hatten wirklich ausreichend Platz.
Eine perfekte Woche in perfekter Umgebung.

This is an ideal option for a small stand alone self contained villa.
Very peaceful quiet location surrounded by farmers - vineyards and olive groves. Great spot handy to San Gimignano

Beautiful setting, rolling hills, miles of vineyards and olive trees. The villa is small but more than suitable for us, as a family of three. Plenty of space outside for our 2 year old to play. The swimming pool was in excellent condition, a good size and well looked after. Unfortunately for us as it was May and the weather was not good so we could not enjoy the pool as it was just too cold! Villa was clean and the owners/family were friendly and happy to help. Roberto, the daughter, spoke a little english. We wished we could have spoken Italian to learn more about the history of the vineyard etc. This holiday was one of our best, good food in local restaurants, easy location to travel from to get to the cities; Sienna and Florence. Would strongly recommend visiting Certaldo Alto (old town) - lovely, historical town.

What a fantastic place to stay. Charming, private, with exceptional views. It was perfect. And, being a quick 10-minute drive to San Gimignano was icing on the cake!

This property was perfect for us. the owners were so friendly yet gave us our privacy. The villa was clean and had the right amount of space we needed. Our kids enjoyed running around the vineyard and playing with their cats. I was also very appreciative that the owners allowed my kids to use the pool eventhough it was previously stated that it was to be closed. It was really too cold to swim but that never seems to stop my small kids from wanting to splash around. this allowed my husband and I some relaxation to sit by the pool and chat while they played. Again--I really appreciated that.

What a little "gem", the marketing information published does not do this property the full justice it deserves. The hosts are extremely helpfull but never in your way. The property is perfectly situated in very close proximity to San Gimignano and the towers of the city can be seen from the swimming pool. An absolute recommendation to anyone looking for accommodation in this area.

The location was perfect for exploring Tuscany. The appartament was even better than as described. The kitchen was large and well equipped. For the pool it was too late in season but looked good freshly seeded. There are 2 good rooms and outdoor a great picnic table to dine outside. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Capannina is in a fantastic location for touring around Tuscany. The villa is basic but has everything you need including an incredible 16m pool which overlooks the beautiful Tuscan countryside. You need to take towels for the pool but apart from that it is very well equipt. We would definitely go back as it was the perfect place to relax and in such a good position for touring Tuscany. This villa is very small, but beautifully formed! It has all the essential things you need, including kitchen area with fridge, microwave and oven. The location is fantastic, with the views over the Tuscan countryside from the pool and the main bedroom being second to none! A car is definitely needed for the visits to the hilltop villages, and the closest restaurant Antico Desco is highly recommended. I would highly recommend this villa, but if you're wanting it to be completely without anyone close by you might be disappointed as it's on the same site as the vineyard house but that caused absolutely no problems whatsoever as the owners were on hand to help with anything we needed. Don't be put off by the cars in the driveway as you approach, they're vineyard workers who aren't around during the day at all, but neither will you be with so much to explore! Take your own beach towels though as the ones provided aren't really suitable for outdoors. The pool is very cold, but with the beautiful views surrounding it, who cares! Highly, highly recommended. Superb little rustic villa on hill top. Panoramic wonderful views of surrounding hills and San Gimi, from bedrooms and from pool. Excellent location, few Km from San Gimi and easy to get to other nearby towns. Very friendly and helpful owners. There if you needed them but left you alone if you didn't. We had a wonderful time and would consider booking the villa again.

Small but comfortable villa in breaktaking scenery with a beautiful pool. We particularly enjoyed the barbeque pit and eating by the pool. The owners were friendly and helpful and overall this was a very enjoyable place to stay.

The property is a very pretty converted barn. Small but beautifully furnished. The pool is beautiful and has views of the Tuscan Hills with vinyards and olive groves in every direction and a view of the towers of San Giminiago in the distance. There is a covered dining area, barbecue and pizza oven. The area is quiet and peaceful. The nearest towns are 5 mins by car and have restautants, cafes, sights and supermarkets. San Giminiago is beautiful and Sienna and Florence are within easy reach. Wished we'd gone for 2 weeks , not one.
