Poggio Velluto is a rustic property in an absolutely stunning location. The building is spacious and all the rooms of a good size apart from the kitchen which is a little small, but perfectly adequate when combined with the very well situated outside dining table. The house has had some improvements, especially to bathrooms, but remains rustic rather than luxurious.
The outside is fabulous. The pool is very good and the views from it are for once, even better than the pictures suggest.
We like properties like this and for us it was ideal. A picturesque Italian country house with stunning views. The owner only spoke Italian but was very helpful. We had a couple of very minor queries which were dealt with immediately.
This house is great if you want a holiday largely based around the house, or are just looking for some nice Italian towns to visit. If you have specific towns or sites you want to see, check how long it takes to get there - don’t rely on distance as many of the roads are very twisty and therefore speeds are slow.Vil du anbefale denne ejendom til en ven? Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans cette maison fantastique à Seggiano. Les amis et la famille se sont succédés et tant la situation que le caractère de la maison ont fait l'unanimité. Un merci particulier à Giuliano, le propriétaire, qui est une personne très sympathique, disponible et très serviable.

Vermieter sehr nett, kann aber nur Italienisch.
Das Haus ist von ausen ein Traum, auch die Umgebung ist super.
Das Innere im Haus ist leider verbesserungsfähig.
Die Betten sind alt und teilweise instabil.
Die Badezimmer mit alten Duschvorhängen und teilweise sehr klein oder nicht besonders hygienisch.
Auch die Küche ist nur mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet, ein Geschirrspüler ist nicht vorhanden.
Der Poolbereich ist sehr toll, besonders mit Kindern.

The house is a dream from the outside, and the surroundings are great. Unfortunately, the interior of the house could be improved. The beds are old and partly unstable. The bathrooms with old shower curtains and some are very small or not particularly appropriate.
The kitchen is only equipped with the bare essentials, there is no dishwasher.

Wonderful place in the heart of mountains with spectacular and fascinating view from very large and clean swimming pool. Cosy agriculture house, owner supplied us every evening with amazing red vine and olive oil. For those who would prefer to travel- approach to the see, Orvietto, Siena within 1.5-2 hours. We can only recommend and would like to come back. Hana, Czech Republic

Very pleasant house. Good pool. Atmosphere just like in own home. Excellent view. Owner produces good wine - 2006.

The photos do not do this place justice. It is incredibly beautiful! Stunning views all around. The pool was a bit chilly but I bet by late June it is perfect. My family and I (11 of us) had a wonderful time. The property is a bit remote but that was just fine for us. Overloaded with knickknacks inside but still beautiful and comfortable and a fabulous place for a vacation.
