La Capraia, antique medieval hamlet, is in a very good position which overlooks the Arno valley. The characteristic little squares of the hamlet that have been renovated conserve the old town and create an atmosphere of refined country residence. The farm surrounds and protects the hamlet, its olive grove and walking paths give it an enchanting feeling. There is a typical restaurant, only open for a minimum of six people, with high quality food. The apartments are well equipped and decorated with typical Tuscan furniture. The main cities of the area are easily reached: Florence 55 km, Siena 60 km, Arezzo 45 km. Internet access available only in a communal room. Large working farm "La Capraia", 600 m a.s.l.. 4.6 km from the centre of Castelfranco di Sopra, 14 km from the centre of Reggello, 33 km from the centre of Greve in Chianti, in a sunny, elevated position on top of a hill. For shared use: garden, swimming pool (8 x 15 m, depth 100 - 130 cm, 02.05.-26.09.). Children's pool, outdoor shower, table tennis, barbecue, children's playground. In the complex: internet access, washing machine (for shared use), heating to be paid on the spot (01.11.-15.04.), heating available only from 01.11. to 15.04.. Parking at the house. Shop 5 km, bus stop 5 km, railway station "Figline Valdarno" 20 km. Tennis 5 km, riding stable 20 km. Please note: There are more similar properties for rent in this same residence.

Our stay at La Capraia was completely perfect. We can't thank Oscar, Ari, Pasquale and their family enough for everything they did during our stay.
The location is stunning, the food is amazing and the scenery is breathtaking, we couldn't fault any part of the trip at all and can't wait to return.
You can spend all day just taking in the views in the serene setting of La Capraia. set amongst the Tuscan hills. You will need a car to explore but again thisis well worth it as Oscar can give tips on where to go, Florence is around 40 mins away or you can get the train from nearby Figline.

La Capraia was the highlight of our 6 week ould easily have stayed here another week! The estate was gorgeous, our villa well kept, the owners were lovely and very helpful and the views were absolutely breath taking. We did day trips most days as La Capraia is approx within an hour of all the major tourist attractions and other days we relaxed by the pool and enjoyed the view and surrounds.
