Beautiful 5-hectare estate in Tuscany, a villa for wedding celebration and holidays, comprising a farmhouse of 140 m2 and an outbuilding of 60 m2 which have been skilfully restored and turned into a delightful independent villa offering tastefully and refined furnished interiors. This property is situated on the hills dominating the Chiana Valley in Tuscany, a villa set in quiet and panoramic location and affords charming views over the surrounding landscape.
The owner lives in an apartment with private entrance located in the villa and they use a small share of the garden on one, secluded side, without using the swimming-pool. A secondary road passes at the back of the villa. Distances: food shops 3 km, Foiano della Chiana with all kinds of shops and a golf course approx. 10 km, the lovely medieval town Cortona approx. 15 km, Castiglion del Lago with equipped beaches on Lake Trasimeno 22 km, Montepulciano 20 km, the Etruscan town of Chiusi 25 km, Pienza 30 km, Siena 55 km. Horse-back riding facilities at 5 km, a tennis court and a covered swimming-pool are within 10 km. The pass of S. Albino are 20 km away. A secondary road passes at the back of the villa.
At guests' disposal: large, shaded lawn equipped with tables, chairs, sun-beds, barbecue, table-tennis, covered panoramic terrace furnished with tables and chairs for nice outdoor meals, private swimming pool (14 x 6 m - maximum depth 1,5 m - open from 01/04 to 31/10) set in panoramic location with dressing-room and bathroom with 2 showers, swimming-pool for children and Jacuzzi tub. Guests can also enjoy use of gym equipment. Covered parking within the grounds. Washing-machine and iron at disposal. All of the bedrooms are provided with ceiling fans. Wireless internet available free of charge.
Extra services: possibility of renting mountain bikes and requesting maid service (€ 10,- / per hour, payment on the spot). By arrangement guests can enjoy excellent dinners and breakfasts based on local recipes (payment on the spot). On request it is possible to hire a cot (€ 25,- / per week, payable locally) and an extra bed (€ 52,- / per week, payable locally).

Espacio tranquilo, todo bien exceptuando la comodidad/confortabilidad de los colchones y la visita de cucarachas en la casa anexa (la pequeña en el jardín).

[Counter Comment from the owner] The mattresses are only 2 years old and are of medium hardness in order to satisfy most of the guests and the comfort of a mattress is subjective anyway ....

The villa and grounds were beautiful. We had great weather the entire time. It was a pleasure to have this beautiful place for three weeks. The owners were so helpful and kind and the meals they prepared were glorious. The sunsets helped to put a magical glow to our home in Tuscany. Everything was perfect!
